I  hold an MA in Mindfulness Based Core Process Psychotherapy . I also hold  Professional Diploma in Clinical Supervision across helping professions .

I am a Marte Meo Licensed Therapist, and trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Life Skills Consultancy, NVR, Theraplay, and I am a Circle of Security Facilitator. I am certified as an Adoption Competency Mental Health Professional .

Additional trainings I have are in Trauma Informed Interventions, Somatic Experiencing and Breath Work, Sound Healing,  Interanl Family Systems, ASIST – applied  suicide intervention skills SAOR – substance abuse assessment, along with various intervention skills and training for those who have experienced domestic abuseI am  a fully accredited member of the IAHIP and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy, as well as a fully accredited member of  the Association of Core Process Psychotherapists.  I am also a member of Action Trauma

I  sit on the governing body of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy .

With over 35 years’ experience in the statutory and voluntary sectors in Ireland and the UK, I  have worked extensively with individual and family trauma, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, the impact of addiction and substance misuse, domestic violence, grief, separation, loss and anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-harm, identity, pre- and peri-natal processes, and adoption.
