My approach

Seeking help and finding the right therapist can be overwhelming. Congratulation on taking the first step on your therapeutic journey.

I aim to create a safe space to support your journey at a pace that feels right for you. I am passionate about working holistically and connecting with both the mind and body. I work using a Core Process Psychotherapeutic (CPP) model to adapt to the individual needs of my clients. CPP is an integrative approach that draws on various western domains, including psychodynamic, humanistic and existential, as well as eastern practices, such as mindfulness. Bringing mindfulness, a sense of spaciousness and non-judgement, to what is enquired into, can allow a gentler way of meeting what arises.

Throughout my experience, I have seen how much change, healing and opportunity can come out of difficulty and enjoy holding this potential with my clients. I believe therapy offers an opportunity to reconnect to the inherent wellness and health within all of us that is sometimes obscured by our experiences and conditionings.

My background and interests

I am a qualified therapist registered with UKCP and BACP. I have drawn from over 14 years experience in the mental health field supporting clients with a variety of needs. I hold a BSc (hons) degree in Psychology, a MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology, and a MA in Mindfulness Based Core process psychotherapy. Having noticed the impact of birth experiences in client work, I have also pursued a specialised training on “Prenatal and Birth Experience and lifelong influences”.

My early work with children with autism taught me the value of meeting each person as they are. Working closely with people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and spectrums, I advocate for and celebrate difference—working with both the challenges and the richness that can arise in this area.

I have a particular interest in working with questions around self-identity, especially during periods of transition such as relationship endings, career dissatisfaction, becoming a parent, or questioning life direction. I support clients in exploring the question of “Who am I?” and reconnecting with a more authentic sense of self.

Alongside reflection, I work creatively—using images, symbols, and the imagination to open up new ways of relating to oneself. This process supports greater choice, deeper self-understanding, and agency.

I also have experience with a range of areas including stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, bullying, abuse, dissociation, disordered eating, shame, low self-esteem, self-harm, family dynamics, relationship difficulties, communication issues, sexuality, race, questions of identity and selfhood during life transitions, grief, miscarriage, dreams, shadow material, spirituality, existential issues, and life goals or purpose.

Sessions

I offer both long and short term therapy in English. I offer a free initial session, online or face-to-face, to get a feel of how it would be to work with me and to see if we are the right fit. If we choose to continue, sessions are 50 minutes. I offer a number of limited concessionary rates according to circumstance, please inquire to request this. I look forward to hearing from you.
