“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know” (Pema Chödrön)
I practice in a re-wilding haven, with the opportunity of walk and talk and fire-pit sessions. Having been immersed in the elements both therapeutically and for fun for many years this is a key drive and inspiration for my work.
To be human is to experience joy and exhilaration as well as difficulty and despair. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to make a meaningful and warm-hearted connection with a therapist at a moment in life of change, crisis or deep reflection.
- I accredited in 2011 as a trauma-informed and mindfulness-based psychotherapist and in 2020 as a Systemic Embodied Coach.
- I have also worked in business, particularly the environmental sector, taking psychology into the workplace as a coach and HR lead.
Drawing on my experience, I offer a down-to-earth approach with room for humour and joy as well as a safe holding space to explore and work with difficulties.
