I believe and trust deeply in each individuals innate wisdom knowing that ‘there is a place within you that remembers. Before the first wound.’ That everyone is unique and I work alongside you to listen with non judgemental, welcoming curiosity, warmth and compassion, so all parts of you can feel welcomed and valid for the roles they have played in your lives and to hear their story.  Those outcast past of ourselves that we have learned to criticise, to keep ourselves small or that we are ‘wrong’ in some way or in many ways, as if often the case. I work with a depth relational focus, welcoming signals and information in a Focusing informed approached, taking guidance and pace from your own deep wisdom. I also work on zoom and outdoors within an eco psychotherapy approach in Hampstead Heath.

I also work within the climate and environmental, socio political distress conversation and therapy. My work focuses on the truth of the human experience now in this difficult predicament we find ourselves. My own personal journey in this field has been to experience my own grief and loss, with degrees of despair and dread threaded through over and over again. That we are here now and these emotions are part of our lives, as we try to get along with the day to day, they will come and go. How we need to also attend to our bodies and nervous systems so that we can stay present to the truth and build a strength and courage to be part of this moment.  Within this moment of suffering and seeming unraveling, is there the opportunity for the veils to fall away and we begin to see life, humanity and the non human world in a new way? A way, perhaps not easy, a way requiring courage but a way that reveals what potentials may also be hidden in this moment, if we pay deep attention.
