Mindfulness Based Core Process Psychotherapist
UKCP Number 2011185805
People come to therapy for a host of reasons but the underlying theme for all of us is that we lose contact of who we are in our essence. We are conditioned by our upbringing and culture to develop limiting habits and patterns of behaviour that perpetuate our suffering and impinge our ability to face life’s challenges. Therapy is a explorative journey to re-align us with our true being and innate health. This involves the creation of an open and safe space in which suffering can be worked with compassionately to enable positive change. These are the basic principles I use in to meet each clients unique set of needs.
I am an accredited psychotherapist and draw on my knowledge and expertise from over 20 years experience as a mental health nurse in the NHS as well as many years of practicing Buddhism. I combine working with the imaginal and dreams with mindful somatic experiencing to enable change at depth, as well as, tayloring my approach to meet the individual at their own pace and preferences.
